Playing Style
Left-handed shakehand attacker with powerful forehand loops. He is aggressive at the opening of rallies and dangerous on return of serve. Still improving consistency and match control at senior international level.
Forehand: He produces high‑quality shots, but his greatest strengths lie in consistency and angle variation. He can force straight‑line changes during fast rallies and land shots into the wide short‑corner (“small triangle”) zone, making it hard for opponents to cover the court.
Backhand: He mainly employs fast rips to wide corners and the middle body, with rapid stroke transitions. Though his single‑shot power is not at the “backhand ceiling” level of Chen Meng or Wang Manyu, he boasts outstanding transition skills and the ability to redirect the opponent’s incoming force.
Table‑top play: This is one of his core advantages. His short pushes, long pushes and flips feature deceptive technique, which effectively neutralizes the opponent’s serve‑and‑attack. Especially in junior events, his fine table‑top control often gives him the initiative for third‑ball attack.
Tactical awareness: He is regarded as a shrewd, tactically‑oriented player. Instead of reckless brute‑force play, he constantly probes for opponents’ weaknesses through serves and receive‑of‑serve, then executes targeted game plans accordingly.
