1. Started table tennis training at age 7. At 9, he trained in Beijing and joined the Beijing Provincial Table Tennis Team.

3. 2015 (aged 15): Defeated Ma Long 4-1 at the National Table Tennis Championships. Promoted to the National First Team in December, becoming one of the youngest players to join the senior team in the past 20 years.

Faced with the new competition format and young opponents, Wang Chuqin stated openly that he was in a period of declining match form and needed to “stay humble and fight hard”.On September 4, Wang Chuqin withdrew from the WTT Macao Champions 2026 due to injury.On September 20, he took part in the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya as team captain for the first time.
