Lin Yun-Ju, nicknamed “The Silent Assassin”, is an elite table tennis athlete representing Chinese Taipei, born on August 17, 2001. He is a left-handed shakehand-grip player famous for his crafty near-table style and outstanding game intelligence.

Technical Features

His signature weapon is the backhand banana flick. He can generate sharp spin and tricky angles right over the table against short serves, creating immediate attacking chances.

Lin’s short-ball control is exquisite. He varies drop shots and pushes constantly to disrupt opponents’ rhythm. His shot transitions are lightning fast, and he prioritizes placement and timing over raw power.

Calm and composed under high pressure, he reads matches quickly and makes smart tactical adjustments. His backhand is far more explosive than his steady but less dominant forehand.

A clear weakness: once pushed far away from the table, he lacks heavy power to counter deep, strong topspin loops in long rallies.
